Now that the question has been popped and you’ve got the ring you are ready to plan the biggest day of your life. So, what’s next? You’ll need to hire a platoon of service providers to make your day perfect! You need to be a discerning customer, not someone that just signs on the dotted line. So, where to start??
The next step will be to hire a wedding coordinator to assist you in all else to follow. If you are not using a coordinator, you have to get started on asking for referrals from fiends, family and co-workers. Based on these referrals, contact a few vendors, and schedule meetings. Go prepared with a list of questions, and be informed! You don’t want to get done in! (Again, this is why you should have booked that coordinator!)
At the end of the day, remember that the suppliers work for you, not the other way around. They are there to implement your wishes, not for you to fall in with their plans. Don’t let any service provider bully you into their ideas. If they don’t offer what you need, move along…
